Liza – I would like to extend my most sincere appreciation for all of the effort that you put into arranging the return trip for Val and Eric. I am under no illusion when it comes to effort involved in this kind of event, and your concern for my stress levels were most appreciated.
Mango – despite seriously disgusting (as in zero) responses to emails at guestcare and phone calls to Customer Care, the service that we received at the airport was quite frankly way above and beyond what should be reasonably expected of an airline. I am quite simply unable to find the words to adequately describe how the events went down. Unprompted or requested assistance from security at the DOH lines, they identified the situation and just took over. Calls from Anita to ensure everything was going according to plan to keep on top of arrangements on the ground. Walking from the DOH queue to the Mango counter – identified mid crowd in the departures hall by the Mango representative who came up to me and asked if I was Mrs Young then took us straight to check in. Last and most definitely the highlight of the trip – the gentleman wearing the Menzes Jacket 4338 – wow! Friendly, efficient, professional and most of all cool and calm – if our progress was being filmed for a Mango advert people would have thought it had been scripted for service levels that would never be achieved and he was worthy of an Oscar award.
