ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Arrival Airport Edinburgh
- Journey to the hotel in the area of Scottish Borders, ca. 80km. Depending on arrival time, visit the Melrose Abbey. This historic site, founded in 1136 by Cistercian monks, is renowned for its stunning Gothic architecture and rich history.

Day 2 - Journey to the area of York, ca. 256km
- Drive through the Yorkshire Moors, with a planned stop at the charming coastal village of Robin Hood's Bay. Alternatively, you can explore sections of Hadrian's Wall on foot or visit the historic Alnwick Castle, known for its grand architecture and rich heritage.

- Explore the historic walled city of York, home to the magnificent York Minster. Discover the city's rich heritage with a scenic river cruise, where you can relax and take in the sights while enjoying a traditional fish and chips lunch onboard.
Day 4 - Onwards journey to the area of Birmingham, ca. 220km
- Take a scenic drive through the breathtaking Peak District National Park, with a stop in the charming town of Bakewell, renowned for its delicious cakes, including the famous Bakewell Tart.

Day 5 - Birmingham / Oxford
- Spend the day exploring the famous University City Oxford. The birthplace of Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace. Alternatively, visit to Stratford upon Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Tip: for shopping lovers, a stop at the Bicester Outlet Centre is recommended.
Day 6 - Onwards journey to the area of Chester/ North Wales, ca. 130km
- Explore the historical city of Chester, which was built by the Romans. Alternatively, a visit to Liverpool, the City of the Beatles is well worth a trip.

Day 7 - North Wales / Snowdonia / Conwy
- Take a trip to North Wales. Drive to Snowdonia Nationalpark, the third biggest in the UK. Don't forget to plan a short break in the market town Conwy with its magnificent castle.
Day 8 - Onwards journey to the area of Lake District / Penrith / Kendal, ca. 220km
- Journey to the area of Lake District / Penrith/ Kendal, ca. 220km. Visit the spectacular Lake District, the largest in England, which is famous for its lakes and inspired many artists and writers.

Day 9 - Onwards journey to the area of Glasgow, ca. 200km
- Take a short break in Gretna Green, one of Scotland's earliest visitor centers, renowned for its historic Blacksmith's Shop and famous wedding traditions. Alternatively, explore the vibrant city of Glasgow, known for its rich culture, stunning architecture, and thriving arts scene.

Day 10 - Onward journey to the area of Fort William / Oban, ca. 175km
- Take a short break at the picturesque Loch Lomond, followed by a stop at the Glencoe Visitor Centre to explore the region's dramatic landscapes and rich history.

Day 11 - Fort William / Oban / Skye
- Enjoy a day trip to the Isle of Skye. From fort William, take the famous road to the Isle, which offers spectacular views. From Malliag take a ferry to the Isle of Skye. On the way back to Fort William, we recommend driving over the bridge connecting Isle of Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh. A visit of the most photographed castle ruin, Eilean Donan Castle, is a must.
Day 12 - Onwards journey to the area of Inverness / Aviemore, ca. 150km
- Take a stop at the ruin of Urquhart Castle that offers great views over the famous Loch Ness.

Day 13 - Onwards journey to the area of Edinburgh, ca. 200km
- Travel along the scenic route through Cairngorms National Park. Optionally, consider visiting Blair Athol Distillery for a taste of Scotland's whisky heritage. Alternatively, make a stop in the historic town of St Andrews, renowned for its prestigious university, stunning coastline and golfing legacy.

Day 14 - Edinburgh
- Discover Edinburgh, often called the "Athens of the North." Your visit includes a tour of the iconic Edinburgh Castle. Stroll along the historic Royal Mile and through the elegant New Town. If time permits, we also recommend visiting the Palace of Holyrood, the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland.
Day 15 - Depart Edinburgh
