Tanzania Airports Authority will open a new terminal at Dar es Salaam’s Julius Nyerere International Airport in June 2019.
The new terminal is expected to make the airport a tourism hub, capable of handling up to six million passengers a year.
Julius Nyerere airport is Tanzania’s busiest international airport; the new terminal will add parking for 2,075 vehicles and screening systems to process an average of 400 people every 10 minutes.
