Create your own travel playlist before your next flight and sync it to your seat as soon as you’re boarded, thanks to a new app from Emirates that allows passengers browse more than 1,000 movies, television series, live sports and news, music, podcasts and games in approximately 40 languages.
Currently available on more than a hundred Emirates Boeing 777 aircraft, the syncing functionality will be made available across the entire fleet (including the A380) in the coming months.
“Our customers can now browse the unmatched content on offer and create personal entertainment playlists at their leisure, and once comfortably settled in their seats on board, they simply sync and press play,” says Emirates president, Sir Tim Clark.

After you’ve created your playlist in the Emirates App, sync it to your seat when you board:
1. Make sure your WiFi is turned on in your mobile settings
2. Open your playlist in the Emirates App and tap Sync
3. Follow the pairing instructions on your seatback TV
4. Hit Play (and don’t worry, your TV can only be synced to your device)
