Nominations are now open for the “35 Under 35” awards, a quest by Contiki Holidays to find and celebrate young changemakers making a positive difference in the world.
As the world braces itself for a fresh wave of environmental concerns during Earth Month this May, Contiki Holidays is on the lookout for "35 Under 35 Changemakers 2019" – incredible young people who are working to create positive change in their areas.
The 35 Under 35 is an annual awards program with a mission to uncover, reward and celebrate young people making change in the world when it comes to "People, Planet and Wildlife" – and ultimately crown one as the new Sustainability Ambassador for Contiki.
The major prize awarded to the Sustainability Ambassador includes mentorship by a leader in the sustainability industry; promotion of the cause to Contiki’s audiences, and a ‘Storyteller mission’ (to tell a sustainability story in an incredible travel destination). In keeping with the theme of sustainability, the prize is not just an award but an incredible opportunity for the winner – designed to both nurture and further develop and support their initiative.
Nominations will be crowd sourced through public nominations, while the finalists (all 35) for this year’s awards to be determined by Seth Maxwell, CEO of thirst, and the winner decided by public vote.
