Hold onto your boarding passes because Airports Council International (ACI) World's annual Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards have announced 2023’s superstar airports for passenger experience!
These awards are not just any old accolades handed out by a group of suits in a boardroom – they're based on data gleaned from more than 600,000 real passengers travelling to and from 400 airports in 109 countries.
There are four categories, ranging from cleanest airport to easiest airport journey, but these nine airports shone across all categories:
1. Greenville-Spartanburg International in South Carolina
2. Gerald R. Ford International in Michigan
3. Rome Fiumicino in Italy
4. Casablanca Mohammed V International in Morocco
5. Izmir Adnan Menderes in Turkey
6. Guayaquil International in Ecuador
7. Salalah International in Oman
8. Sultan Hasanuddin International in Indonesia
9. Yogyakarta International Airport in Indonesia
